Rock climbing and fixed rope routes

Fixed rope routes: The cliffy summits offering a fantastic panorama add zest to this landscape. A multitude of fixed rope routes of all difficulty levels are offered. Particularly recommendable are:
• Mount Filmoorhöhe (Ferrata d’Ambros), Mount Großer Kinigat (western ascent), Austria-trail to mount Porze and the fixed rope routes on Italian territory, Monte Peralba, Monte Chiadenis, Mount Raudenspitze and mount Steinwand, Mount Hohe Warte (“Weg der 26er” and north face route), Ferrata senza confine (fixed rope route without frontiers) to mount Cellon, Klabautersteig” (hobgoblin path) through Mauthner Klamm gorge In the Dolomites of Lienz we recommend tours to mount Weittalspitze, mount Spitzstein or mount Große Sandspitze.

Rock climbing: Also climbers are given great possibilities for climbing in all difficulty levels.
Climbing park Tuffbad from level 3 to 9; Alpine classics secured with bolts:
• Monte Chiadenis north face, Creta di Cacciatori north face (Wiegele-Heinrich route), Area round lake Wolayersee: 10 routes from level 3 to 7 (informations at refuge Wolayerseehütte, Helmut Ortner, alpine guide), Mount Soleck west face (sport climbing route), Mount Porze north face (some sport climbing routes).
